Six wicket win for Bellur CC

Good batting by N.Sanjay (53, 3x4s, 1×6), Danish Vishnu (46 n.o) and K.Kethan (43 n.o), helped Bellur CC to register a facile six-wicket win over FUCC in the KSCA Mysore zone II Division league match 2021-22 played at PET grounds, Mandya, on Saturday.

The Scores: II Division: FUCC 223 in 44.4 overs ( T.Manjunath 36, Hemanth Rajkumar 32, S.S.Sumanth four for 38, B.C.Rohan three for 37) lost to Bellur CC 224 for four in 47.5 overs ( N.Sanjay 53, Danish Vishnu 46 n.o, K.Kethan 43 n., M.S.Vinay 27).

Sunnay Side CC 162 in 32.2 overs ( H.N.Chandrashekara 82, Hrishab Singhavi four for 28) lost to RBNCC ‘B’ 163 for five in 21 overs (Pavan Bharadwaj 40, M.K.Yashwanth 37, M.B.Darshan 36, T.Dhanraj three for 39).

KSCA Inter-zonal U-19 cricket tournament-Five wicket win for Mysuru zone

A valuable 132-run third wicket partnership between opener S U Karthik (88, 82b, 3×4, 6×6) and L.Manvanthkumar (50), helped Mysuru zone to register a facile five-wicket win over Tumkur zone in the Group ‘A’ league rain hit tie played at Sports School grounds, Bengaluru on Tuesday.

The Scores: Tumkur zone: 217 in 49.5 overs ( N.Vibhushan 37, Karna Surya Vamshi 71, T.Chiranjeevi 77, S.Ishaan three for 43, Mourya two for 28) lost to Mysuru zone 184 for five in 35.2 overs (Revised target-183 in 43 overs due to rain) ( S.U.Karthik 88, Manvanth Kumar L 50).

 KSCA Bengaluru league- Saishiv Narayan shines

An unbeaten 70 n.o by Mysuru boy L. Sai Shivnarayan and useful contributions from Sai Prajwal Reddy 80, Surya Srinivas 53 helped Jawahars SC (2) to register a facile 158-run win over Jawahars SC (1) in the KSCA Bangalore IInd Division league played at Bengaluru on July 31st.

The Scores: IInd Division: Jawahars SC (2) 314 for seven in 50 overs ( Sai Prajwal Reddy 80, L Sai Shivnarayan 70 n.o, Surya Srinivas 53, Sudhanava Kulkarni 35, L.R.Kumar 3/38) bt Jawahars SC (1) 156 in 36 overs ( Kruthik Krishna 36, K.C.Cariappa 28, Manoj 51 n.o, Vishnu Jain 4/45, D.Basavaraj 4/24).

Open selection trials for senior women’s cricket team

The open selection trials to pick three or four women cricket teams to participate in the selection matches (senior women) during the third week of August at Bengaluru on August 8th from 9.30 a.m at KSCA ‘B’ grounds. Girls interested to participate in the trials should report at 9 a.m. on August 8th. at the KSCA ‘B’ grounds in cricketing dress.

KSCA extends term of selectors, coaches

The Karnataka State Cricket Association at its managing committee meeting held on July 16th, unanimously decided to extend the terms of the selection committee and coaches for all groups men and women for one more season.

BCCI Senior Women’s One-day trophy-Mysore’s Shubha shines in Karnataka’s win

Mysore girl Subha Satish hit an unbeaten half century (76 n.o) as Karnataka’s state women’s cricket team posted a four-wicket win over Himachal Pradesh in the BCCI Senior  one-day trophy game at TI Muragappa grounds in Chennai on 19th March.
