Maharaja Trophy T20 2026 to be held at SDNR Wadyar stadium, Mysuru from June 20th 2026
The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), will be conducting the “Maharaja Cup T20” tournament 2026, at the SDNR Wadyar stadium grounds, Mysuru, from 20th June 2026.
The tournament will be held in three phases with the first phase and the third phase to be held in Mysuru. The second phase will be conducted at the KSCA stadium in Hubli.
The 20-day tournament will show case the talented cricketers from Karnataka who will represent the six franchises in the Maharaja Trophy T20 tournament 2026.
The tournament will begin on 20th June and conclude on 12th July 2026. The tournament will be broadcast live by Sony TV channel.
The Maharani Trophy T20 tournament 2026, will also be conducted by KSCA and four franchise teams will take part in this edition of the tournament.
This was announced by KSCA in a press conference held at KSCA, Bangalore, today.

RBNCC ‘A’ wins Ist division league title
RBNCC ‘A’ team won the Sri. Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar Memorial trophy for Group I- Ist division Mysore zone league 2025-26, with 29 points. A group photo of the winning team.
Jo Jo CC and Navodaya CC finished with 28 points and took the second and third places respectively. National CC and Karavali Cricketers finished with 27 points each and took the fourth and final place.
Royal CC finished on top in the IInd division with 30 points and Saraswathipuram SC with 30 points finished second.

Mysore zone KSCA Academy selection trials
The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), Mysore zone will be conducting selection trials for KSCA Academy for U-14 and U-19 boys on March 22 and 23rd 2026, at the SDNR Wadyar stadium grounds at 8 a.m.
Players born on or after September 1, 2012 will be eligible to take part in the U-14 selections to be held on 22nd March, and the players born on or after September 1, 2007 will be eligible to take part in the U-19 selections on March 23rd. Only KSCA Mysore zone registered players are eligible to take part in the selection trials.

BCCI U-23 Women’s One day trophy- Mysuru girl Saloni shines as Karnataka enters final
Mysuru girl P. Saloni representing Karnataka took her second successive four wicket haul (four for 20) to guide her side to the final of the BCCI U-23 Women’s One day trophy following a seven wicket victory over Mumbai on Friday.
Saloni had also scalped four wickets in the quarterfinal against Uttarakhand (four for 18), and her effort over Mumbai was well complimented by Niki Prasad (49 n.o) and Soumya Verma (45 n.o) as Karnataka chased down the 135-run target in 26 overs.
In Sunday’s summit clash in Ranchi, Karnataka will take on Maharashtra which overcame Tamil Nadu.

Mysore’s women cricketers – Shubha Satheesh and P.Saloni excel
Mysuru based Shubha Satheesh was the captain of the Karnataka State Women’s senior team in the Senior women’s one-day trophy 2025-26 and performed well. She represented South zone in the inter-zonal matches and also performed well with the bat. In 5 matches she scored 257 runs which included three fifties.
Another Mysore girl P.Saloni also represented Karnataka State in the Senior women’s one-day trophy 2025-26 and performed well as an all-rounder.
Both of them are products of Bowlout cricket academy, Mysore.

Centuries by Mysuru based Shubha Satheesh (140) and Vrinda Dinesh (125), helped Karnataka defeat Tripura CA by 218 runs in the women’s senior one-day trophy in Jhajjar on Monday.
Karnataka (20 points), finished second to Bengal in Group E and thus qualified for the knockouts.
